It's not about the size of the ship, but about the motion in the oceanBart Holthuizen
( Member of team: NewMotion in the Ocean )
The incredible amount of plastics in our oceans is a crystal clear consequence of some fundamental flaws in our production and consumption system.
It is an outcome of our economy, currently defined by linearity and consumerism, combined with our lacking awareness regarding our ecological footprint and the trash we produce.
Apart from the essential role the oceans play in our ecosystem, they also offer me so much joy as an individual. From lazy afternoons at the beach to surfing and scuba diving.
I would be very grateful if you would be willing to support this project, either by swimming along or by donating a small amount of money.
