Save the sea. Save the animals. Save the planet.Eline van Doorne
Did you know that every year 1 million plastic bags are used per minute and are disposed as 'garbage' just 15 minutes later?
As a result of this, more than 10 million tons of plastic waste end up in our oceans every year!
Plastic is poisonous and non-biodegradable and therefore will stay in the oceans forever, destroying the lives of sea animals and vegetation. At the same time, we pose threats to our own health as humans through the consumption of animals who eat the plastic waste.
The bottom line: plastic waste is found in the planet's entire food chain and is extremely harmful to the planet, animals, and us humans.
I believe that it all starts with educating ourselves about the damaging effects of plastic on the environment. We can make a big difference by taking small, but impactful steps, to create a circular and sustainable economy.
Support me and my efforts to make even the slightest difference in transforming our oceans into replications of the natural wonders they once were.
